Chapter 7

Hi guys! SO sorry for keeping you waiting chee, to make it up, I've posted this longer chapter and wayid action happens in this one, I promise you guys will love it, took me a while writing it. Enjoy x !

After a long and tiring day, I got back home and to my surprise Mama & Baba were sitting in the living room almost like they were waiting for me to get home… Something must be wrong, they NEVER sit at home doing nothing, they were always off into their own worlds, should I worry?

“Elsalam 3alaikm 7beebty Noor” Mama said in a seemed to be sad tone

“Hala mama”

“7beebty g3dy shway, we need to talk…”

“Mama what’s going on?”

She had a worried look on her face; she’s never like this…

Baba: “What we’re about to tell you is going to be hard on you bs this is what me and your mum have came down too…”

Mama: “7beebty Noor, ana w uboch we’ve been having our differences lately w hal 3la8a ma tgdr tt7san.”

“Mama sh89dich?”

Baba: “Ana w umich are getting a divorce… I know this is really hard for you to hear.”

I zoned out, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I know its not like I ever used to see them bs you know when you never expected something to happen and it does and you almost feel like your entire world is crashing down? Exactly how I felt right now.

Mama: “Noor tsm3eeny?”

“What does this mean? El7yn shb9eer? Laysh btswoun chee!”

Baba: “Walaah adri 9a3b tfhmeen bs me and your mum have it planned out…”

Mama: “Ana barji3 to live with your grandma back in Qatar w bakoun ma3 3a2lty there, w enty btyeen m3ay.”

WHAT?! I’m not leaving Kuwait, my friends, everyone I’ve grown up with, this is not happening.

“Mama, bs ana maby a6li3 min Kuwait…”

Mama: “Ya3ny btitrkeeny brou7y? Ana umich Noor.”

Baba: “7beebty Noor, enty you can stay here m3ay lw tabeen bs hal shay bainich w bayn umich, ana maby aza3il umich.”

I didn’t say not another single word, I left them and ran up to my room and tears started running down my face. This is one of the hardest decisions I ever had to face in my life, as much as I don’t want to upset my mum by staying here with Baba, I simply can’t leave my life here in Kuwait to go to a country I’ve never been to before, shloun bt28lam ma3 elnas? I don’t even know anyone in Qatar, 7ta 3a2ilat umy I’ve never seen them, just phone calls w bzyaada. I threw my phone on my bed and didn’t even bother checking it for the rest of the day and went back to sleep.

Days passed and my friends started to realize I wasn’t as talkative and fun as before, kan mbayn 3ala my face how upset I was but non of them knew what was going on, and I didn’t plan on telling anyone, at least not yet. Me and M7mad have been talking lately akthar w he didn’t know about what was going on either, he added me on BBM. As for S3oud, we DM every now and then but I’ve been keeping my distance, not just from him but from many other people too… Y3ny if I were to leave Kuwait for good, I don’t want anyone yt3lg feeny akthar mn chee…

A long tiring school day finished and I headed home, which was the least place I’d rather be at right now.

I checked my phone and it was Maha

“Nooro, can you come over later on today? There’s something you need to know, it involves M7mad.”

I told her I’d go home, change and have lunch with my so-called family then come.

I arrived home and when I entered, I found baba and mama sitting on our huge dinning table waiting for me so that we could have lunch, wow this is a first…

“Salam 3alaikm 7beebty” said Mama.

“3alekom elsalam..”

I made my way and sat on the head of the table, making Mama on my right and baba on my left, it was a bit silent and awkward till Baba broke the silence.

Baba: “Enzayn 7beebty we have good news”

“Shnu?”

Baba: “Me and your mum have been talking and we decided ena it’s totally up to you where you want to live and it’s your life so regarding that, umich btrou7 g6r in a couple of days and I want you to go with her, just for a week. Abeech tshoufeen how it is w etha 3jbich, you come back take your things w you stay there bs you can come visit me whenever you want to come, 7ta lw during school days. W etha you didn’t like it there, you can come back as soon as that one week trial ends w you live here m3ay bs you go visit your mum on weekends w holidays okay 7beebty? How does that sound?”

It sounded like a good plan to be honest, y3ny it’s fair enough. I liked my dad because he was reasonable, may7ib y6’lm a7ad, y3ny most fathers would want to involve court w yswoun salfa so that they keep their daughters but he was fair, he never liked hurting my mother w I look up to him for that.

“Ee okay, thank you so much, walaah 5osh plan Baba”

I then turned to Mama who didn’t have such a convinced look on, I knew she could never bare the thought of having to lose me but as soon as she caught my eyes, she spoke as if she was reading my mind.

Mama: “Noor, tdreen we just want the best for you and your happiness, w I want you to know lw you decided to stay with me bakoun the happiest person on earth and if you decided to come back, I’d still be happy madam enich you’re happy.”

I hugged both of them, it was hard, I’ve never had to go through these kind of things, I remember when I was a kid and the only thing that mattered was what kind of ice cream flavor I was having or what toy I’m getting on my birthday, a7la ayam.

I changed into this and tied my hair in a high up perfect bun: 

Headed off to Maha’s and when I was out, I pinged her and she told me to come in.

I saw Maha and she was dressed in a really good-looking jumpsuit, this is how it looked like:

To be honest, I liked Maha’s style and I personally thought me and her relate a lot regarding her parents are always out of town too and she’s got total freedom like me except for the fact M7mad was a bit strict with her. Oh and I forgot to mention that Abdullah and Maha are now together and have been for the past week, ever since the jet ski incident, they added each other on BBM and he told her he had feeling for her, they were cute together. I gave Maha a huge hug and she held my wrist and pulled me gently then blindfolded my eyes.

“MAHA! Shitsaween?!” I yelled

“Shhh, I told you we’ve got a surprise, you’re going to love this.”

She directed me and since I couldn’t see anything, all I could hear was Maha’s giggles, what’s going on! I then felt Maha’s hands let go of me, and two other manlier hands held mine instead and kept walking me into a different room I’m guessing?

“Bye Noor, I love you, thank me later” yelled Maha as her voice got further and further till she was gone and I heard a door slam.

“MAHAA! This isn’t funny! Where am I?”

Someone took off my blindfold and I opened my eyes to find myself in a glass room in their house that had a view to their pool and there were red petals on the floor drawn into a big heart, and 3 HUGE balloons that read “I love you” right in my face and a table in the middle with a Red Velvet cake in the middle, my favorite! The place smelled like roses and there were to my shock a huge bouquet of roses that had around 30 roses or more and a huge note stuck to it that said, "a rose for everyday I’ve known you & much more to come" I couldn’t believe my eyes. 

I felt someone hold my hands from behind and whisper to me,

“I know this is a bit over the top, bs I didn’t know any other way into coming out to you on how I really feel and Maha helped me in most of this, please don’t turn me down”

I turned around and there he was, M7mad. We were inches away from each other, I couldn’t believe it.

“Omg M7mad… This is by far the sweetest thing anyone has ever done to me, I’m speechless."

“Noor bint flan Al-Flany, a7bich, I love you Noor! And I’ve loved you ever since the first day I met you”

I hugged M7mad and said on top of my lungs

“I didn’t expect this at all, I love you M7mad, I LOVE YOU!”

He then held my hand and dragged me towards the table and we sat there, I felt like this was a bit over the top and I wasn’t used to this kind of romantic things before, I’ve never dated anyone before or even fell in love, the furthest I’ve ever gone was having a crush on some guy back then and telling him he was cute. Maha then came running in and laughed, I ran up to her and gave her a big hug then whispered in her ear “You could’ve at least gave me a hint, shakly mthl elzag!”

She was still laughing for some reason, I turned around and found M7mad behind me and I guess he heard everything I said -_- “You look great Noor, don’t worry” We then went back to our table and as Maha was busy on her phone, I grabbed my plate that had a huge Red Velvet piece of cake on it and mra w7da I threw it in her face then threw another one in M7mads. I know that was a bit of a childish moves but I had to action up this moment a bit. “YAL CHALBA!” screamed Maha and came running after me with cake in her hand and so did M7mad. I ran so fast all the way outside and couldn’t see them anymore. I felt relived and all of a sudden I felt arms wrap around my waist and carry me all the way towards the pool, the next thing I know I was thrown in the pool. I looked up and it was M7mad, I was soaking wet and he couldn’t stop laughing. "M7MAAD! :@"

I grabbed him by the leg and pulled him in too, then came Maha laughing and jumped mra w7da in with us; this girl was so stupid bs a7bha!

I borrowed clothes min 3nd Maha w changed to something dry and we all kept on laughing and hours passed by of just random laughing and extreme hibal. I honestly love these 2, 9j they made me forget about all the house drama that was going on fe my life. Its really strange how just meeting two new people could change your entire life and how love can change everything.

I then tweeted “Having the time of my life <3”

And got a DM a few minutes after that,

“Noor, add me on BBM 2*******”

It was S3oud, M7mad noticed my laughter turn into deep thinking so he asked me what was wrong and I didn’t dare tell him that it was S3oud, I’m not going to ruin this, not now. I decided to ignore S3oud and go on with the rest of my night. 

Two minutes later, I tweeted "I love you @MahaAlFlany! <3" 

Then I got another DM from S3oud "ANSWER!"

I didn't reply once again then I refreshed my timeline and saw S3oud's tweet 30 seconds ago. 

"6anish el7ameer, t3eesh amir ;)"

Wth?
